Challenge yourself in 2017! Take part and raise funds for Venture Scotland.
There are many ways you can help us raise the donations we need to provide the support needed for the vulnerable young people we support. From participating in Venture Scotland social and sporting events or third party sporting events to organising a coffee morning or car boot sale we hope you will find something to suit you! Whatever you do, remember to set up a Just Giving page to allow your friends and family to donate easily - we can help you with this if you need.

Sunday 30th April - Glasgow Kiltwalk - The Glasgow event is the biggest Kiltwalk of the year and takes place on Sunday 30 April 2017 with three separate walks of different lengths across the city. Join the Venture Scotland Team (email firstname.lastname@example.org for the VS team password) and take part in the Mighty Stride (23 miles), the Big Stroll (14 miles) or the Wee Wander (6 miles).
Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th May - Edinburgh Marathon Festival - Take part in the fastest marathon in the UK taking in iconic landmarks and picturesque views along the coast. The festival also offers half marathon, relay, 10km, 5km and 5km junior routes.
Sunday4th June - Aberdeen Kiltwalk - The Aberdeen route starts off in the City – leaving Duthie Park at 9am before heading out into the ‘Shire’, giving our walkers a rare chance to take in everything Aberdeen has to offer, all while having an unforgettable day out. Join the Venture Scotland Team and take part in the Mighty Stride (26 miles), the Big Stroll (15.5 miles) or the Wee Wander (8 miles).
Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th June - Edinburgh Night Ride - Discover the thrill of night riding and join hundreds of other cyclists, of all abilities and ages, for a night to remember on Edinburgh Night Ride – Edinburgh’s most iconic charity bike ride!
Sunday 20th August - Dundee Kiltwalk - Setting off from the stunning and world famous surroundings of St Andrews and taking in some iconic sites on the way, our brand new 2017 route will take our Dundee walkers on an unforgettable Wander, Stroll and Stride. Join the Venture Scotland Team and take part in the Mighty Stride (25 miles), the Big Stroll (11 miles) or the Wee Wander (6 miles).
Sunday 17th September - Edinburgh Kiltwalk - The Kiltwalk in the Capital! Our Edinburgh event takes our walkers on a walking tour of Edinburgh like no other. Setting off from the home of Scottish Rugby, going on a tour of the city and suburbs of Edinburgh before returning to Murrayfield stadium for a well earned party. Join the Venture Scotland Team (email email@example.com for the VS team password) and take part in the Mighty Stride (26 miles), the Big Stroll (15.5 miles) or the Wee Wander (8 miles).
Saturday 23rd September - Bealach More Bike Ride - The Bealach is the UK’s biggest road climb at 2053ft (626m) from sea level in just 6 miles (10k). It is set in a fabulous unspoilt landscape with outstanding views of the sea and the hills. The Applecross Peninsula is renowned as a gem in Scotland’s croen of natural wonders.
Saturday 30th September & Sunday 1st October - Great Scottish Run - Take part in the the half marathon event on Sunday 1st October through the streets of Glasgow or head to George Square on Saturday 30 September for the Super Saturday events - perfect for the kids and a family day out. No matter your ability or level of fitness, there's something for everyone to choose from.
Sunday 1st October - Glencoe Marathon Gathering - Take part in the Glencoe Marathon Gathering, featuring the full 26.2 mile Glencoe Marathon, the Mamores Half Marathon and the Glen Nevis 10K. The off-road marathon is an epic trail run that ascends a total of 1,608 metres through the heart of Glencoe and into the foothills of Ben Nevis.
