Challenge Programme

Programme oVERVIEW

Length: 5 consecutive days

Residential: 3-day residential at a bothy in the Borders

Theme: Belief in yourself and trust in others

  • Trust in yourself and others
  • Confidence through positively engaging with us and challenging yourself
  • Belief in the possibility to change

Challenge Structure

Our first day is all about getting to know each other. We’ll start the day off with some breakfast rolls and then head off to a local beach for some ice breakers games, learn about comfort zones and most importantly, build a fire to cook marshmallows!

The next day will be an activity day like rock climbing or canoeing. You’ll get to step outside your comfort zone and try something new.

DAYS 3 – 5

Then it’s off on a residential trip to a bothy (shepherd’s cottage) for two nights, where you’ll get to know your group and staff members even more. We’ll be playing games, heading off for a hill walk, cooking together and learning about how we can stay together in a small space.

Following the bothy trip, we’ll arrange to get back together to look at the photos and chat through our experience and you’ll get a chance to have a 1-2-1 with the programme leader.
